Abundance
In a MOOC there is an abundance of materials, people, ideas …. and nobody can check everything or do every task! The learners in the ELIC MOOC are free where and how to immerge themselves into this learning experience.
Certification
Learning in a MOOC is exciting but also time consuming. We want to appreciate your activities by providing a Certificate of Innovation Competences for School Teachers via the ECQA certification platform. You can find further information on the “How to get a certificate” site of this MOOC.
Facilitator
Facilitators are responsible for the content of their week, they provide learning material, videos and tasks / questions (Assignments). They will support the learners in their learning processes giving feedback to questions around the topic of the week.
Moderator
The moderators will monitor the learning processes and support students. They will observe what’s happening, they summarize this information and give it to the facilitators. Further, they structure the weeks with their posts.
Technology
There is no special technology needed. Internet connection, browser, video players are sufficient. Of course a good internet connection helps.
